Times a tough right now. We usually have a party but I have decided that they dont need one this year. This year is all about family. If they are good, maybe next year. I guess I could get all gussied up for Christmas eve when I go to my cousins house for our annual “be overly loud, eat way to much, swap cheezy gifts and drink way too weak eggnog” party. But I’d just feel miserable on the way home across the bridge. So I will probably just wear the usual comfy jeans and a red top. Maybe I’ll spring for some killer red boots. But only if they’re on clearance.

Personally, I dont like the bank teller camera thingy. Its just creepy. If I wanted to see someone while making a deposit while I was most likely in my jammies, Id go in. Bring back the days when your drive thru bank teller was just a pleasant voice.

Frugal Beth — if there is pseudo news out there, I feel it is my responsibility to report it. It may not be accurate, may not timely, most likely not relevant, but it is here. Thanks for thinking of me, though. Nice to know someone cares.

Jenn — You couldn’t work at the bank nowadays, they have cameras and we can see the tellers. My lady’s bun is so tight she looks like she’s had a face-lift.

As I saw a different photo of Madge, (one where her biceps were just way too defined) I thought, “Hmmm. I wonder if I should copy this photo and send it to Kerry for her blog. It looks like good blog fodder.” And low and behold – there she is – Mrs./Ex-Mrs. US/Britain Bodybuilder/Singer… and whatever else she claims to be. I just knew Kerry was on the case. Good work.

Really. There comes a point in your life when trying to keep up with the teenagers shouldnt be priority. Personally, I cant wait until I turn 50. Thats my magic number. No more diets. No more watching calories. No more feeling guilty for not working out. Im just going to eat ice cream. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. And maybe french fries. Maybe I could dip my french fries in my ice cream. 8 1/2 more years. Yeah baby! No one tell Shearn about my plan. I want to spring it on him the day before I turn 50.

Yes, we have Scott’s company Christmas party. Although, I may wear it to Target to do some shopping or to Chick Fil A for a playdate. You mean Time’s doesn’t have a party? Can’t you do something about that?

Do we actually have some place to go to wear this lovely frock? Because I myself could stay in my pj’s from Thanksgiving to New Years. No where to go. I need a life.

I personally love my Ward’s pork chop biscuit. It’s the only restaurant we have in my town, and ya’ll went to a nice one too with wi fi and everything. Uptown!!!

Jenn, I’m sure you would have loved to hear a repeat of the Mississippi adventures. You know, I cringe every time I see that mashed potato bowl on tv. You would have loved the restaurant with the porkchops. I forgot to mention the guy in front of us ordered his — to go.
